Skilled nursing facility -
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead our nursing and rehabilitation center in the Chicago South Suburbs.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of administration, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, and maintaining the highest standards of care and service for our residents.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operational Management : Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects of care and administration.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure the facility complies with all applicable laws and regulations. Stay updated with changes in healthcare regulations and implement necessary changes.
- Financial Oversight : Develop and manage the facility’s budget, including monitoring and approving expenditures and ensuring financial stability.
- Staff Management : Lead, hire, and train staff, ensuring they are qualified and motivated. Evaluate staff performance and provide guidance and support to improve service quality.
- Resident Care : Ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents. Monitor patient care for quality. Respond to residents' needs and concerns promptly.
- Community Relations : Act as a liaison between the facility, families, and the wider community. Promote positive relationships through effective communication.
- Strategic Planning : Develop and implement strategic plans that reflect the goals of the facility. Ensure resources are available to meet future needs.
- Risk Management : Implement risk management programs to minimize risks and liabilities.
Qualifications :
- Licensing : A current Illinois Nursing Home Administrator license is required.
- Skills : Strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficient in healthcare management software and regulatory compliance.
