Production Machine Maintenance Technician

To support this goal, we seek a skilled Production Machine Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Job Summary :

The Production Machine Maintenance Technician is responsible for the regular check-ups, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of production machines, including pad printing, screen printing, digital printing, sticker printing, laser engraving, heat transfer, CNC machines etc.

The role requires a solid understanding of electrical control and air control systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Machine Maintenance : Perform regular maintenance checks on production machines, including pad printing, screen printing, digital printing, sticker printing, laser engraving, heat transfer, CNC machines etc.

to ensure they are in optimal working condition.

• Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve basic mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime and ensure consistent production output.
• Preventive Maintenance : Develop and follow a preventive maintenance schedule to reduce the likelihood of unexpected breakdowns and prolong machine lifespan.
• Equipment Calibration : Calibrate machines and equipment as needed to ensure accurate performance and high-quality outputs.
• Documentation : Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, adjustments, and parts replacements, to provide a comprehensive maintenance history.
• Safety Compliance : Adhere to all company policies, health & safety standards, and environmental regulations to ensure that all machines are operated and maintained in compliance with safety standards.
• Spare Parts Inventory : Monitor and manage spare parts inventory, including ordering and stocking necessary components to ensure timely repairs.
• Technical Support : Collaborate with production and technical teams to provide support and guidance on machine operation, maintenance schedules, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications :

• Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; a technical certificate or associate degree in mechanics, electronics, or related field preferred.
• Experience : Minimum of 2 years' experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a printing decoration or related manufacturing environment.

Electrical engineering experience is a plus.

• Technical Skills :
• Understanding of electrical control systems and pneumatic systems for production machines.

Knowledge of AC & DC electricity (AC 220V-110V single & three faces, DC24V 12V, 24V PLC)

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
• Experience of lathe, digital milling, drill press, cutting machines and general hand tool (grinder, electric drill etc.)
• Attention to detail and precision in color formulation and mixing.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of calibration techniques for printing and engraving machines.
• Proficiency in basic computer drawing skills.
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Communication : Good communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and document maintenance activities and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues quickly and effectively.
• Growth mindset be interested in operational, mechanical innovation.
• Physical Ability : Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in a physically demanding environment, and stand for extended periods.
