Automotive Service Dispatcher
Full-Time Opportunity : 5 / 6 Day Work Week
Monday Friday 7 : 30 AM 5 : 00 PM
Job Description & Duties :
Dispatcher Responsibilities :
- Schedule shops work as efficiently as possible in accordance with dealership policy.
- Assign work to the correct technician level.
- Ensure that technicians follow warranty procedures.
- Understand warranty guidelines.
- Book and code repair orders.
- Review hard copies turned in by technicians to ensure that assigned work has been completed properly.
- Ensure technicians complete the multi-point vehicle inspection forms.
- Complete a dispatch log daily and turn into Service Management at end of shift.
- Maintain a record of carryover vehicles.
- Coordinate parts requirements with the Parts Department
- Spot-check repairs to assure quality and timely completion.
- Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes, OSHA right-to-know, etc.
- Internal RO Processing
- RO Coding
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications :
Valid NYS Drivers License
1 year of dealership setting experience.
