RKCS is a prime government contractor providing IT Services to various state, local and federal agencies since 1998.
We are seeking a Senior IT Contracts Specialist for a government agency to analyze negotiate, manage IT hardware and software procurement.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced Technology purchasing and contracts expert with 10+ years of experience conducting legal analysis of technology contracts in high volume IT departments supporting large organizations, with ability to create and negotiate standard, non-standard, inter-agency agreements, amendments and generally assist with Contract Management.
40 hours / week, 12 months duration, 100% remote.
Responsibilities :
Provide recommendations for contract terms improvement
Use Optimization techniques to achieve cost savings,
Analyze technology Contracts
Specific expertise with ERP software procurement and administration especially with SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle, Microsoft, etc.
Contract analysis and negotiation strategy development
Identification of core IT spend reduction areas.
Contract Drafting and Review : Preparing and reviewing contract terms to ensure they meet organizational and legal standards.
Compliance Monitoring : Ensuring all parties adhere to the contract terms and conditions.
Amendments and Modifications : Managing changes to contracts and ensuring they are documented and agreed upon.
Dispute Resolution : Addressing and resolving any issues or disputes that arise during the contract's execution.
Record Keeping : Maintaining accurate records of all contract documents and correspondence
Minimum Qualifications :
- 10 years in Technology contracting, procurement, preparation and administration especially for large government agencies, County, or City Governments.
- Desired : Certifications such as an UPPCC Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO) or Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB), or a NIGP-CPP Skilled in executive level presentations and project related communications.
