SLP Diagnostician
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Diagnostician to join our dynamic Birth to Three Transition Team.
As an SLP Diagnostician, you will be responsible for conducting prehensive assessments of preschoolers aged 2.11 to 5 years.
This position is focused exclusively on diagnostic evaluations and requires expertise in preschool speech-language development, along with a strong understanding of culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments of preschoolers aged 2.11 to 5 years, with an emphasis on speech and language development.
- Utilize a variety of assessment tools, both standardized and non-standardized, to evaluate munication skills and identify potential speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate closely with the Birth to Three Transition Team to provide accurate diagnoses and offer appropriate remendations for intervention and support.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of assessment results, observations, and remendations.
- Effectively municate assessment findings and remendations to families, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the child's care.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of preschool speech and language development milestones.
- Familiarity with a range of assessment tools and techniques monly used with preschool-aged children.
