The Human Resources Manager provides HR consulting and coaching to leaders and associates to support arrivia’s mission, vision and company goals through nimble and dynamic Human Resource services and effective solutions to people issues.
The Human Resources Manager will supervise aspects of People Operations and team of Human Resource Business Partners. They will participate in all facets of HR including, employee relations, employee rewards, performance evaluations, orientation, DEI and employee development.
This position requires the ability to manage various tasks and complex engagements across multiple locations and will be accountable for business requirements and regulations.
Responsibilities :
- Critical member of the Global People Operations Team, strategically partnering with department leaders to drive an employee experience that supports arrivia’s business goals
- Cultivate a culture centered around driving a fantastic Employee Experience by leading all people and culture-related strategies for your team, including, but not limited to Diversity and Inclusion, Employee Engagement
- Lead coaching, counseling and support of management on all people-related matters
- Supervise and develop your HR team and partner with leadership on internal investigations
- Participate in your team's business strategy process by seeking solutions to business challenges, identifying specific skill and resource requirements, and aligning HR programs and practices to business objectives
- Collaborate with Leadership to positively drive Culture
- Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management
- Partner with Labor Relations on compliance charges and formal litigation, working with both in-house and outside legal counsel
- Represent arrivia when required on compliance complaints and charges including the EEOC
- Work with business Leadership to drive succession and career planning process for your team including assessing current leadership bench depth, making recommendations on readiness and potential for promotion
- Develop internal candidates for key positions through the performance management process, including career counseling and individual development planning
- Partner with business leadership to develop strategies and create plans to mitigate employee relations problems and to maximize employer of choice matters
- Work with corporate partners to ensure effective execution of all corporate policies and practices for your team, including compensation and benefits plans
- Complete other duties and tasks assigned
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is required
- Minimum of 4 years working in human resources or a closely related field
- Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities
- HR Certification of PHR, SHRM-CP, or related designation is preferred.
- Knowledge of employment law, hiring practices, interview techniques, and HR metrics
- Previous experience with an Applicant Tracking System, HRIS system and survey software, and strong computer literacy skills with Microsoft Office products
- High level of confidentiality
- Ability to establish priorities, manage deadlines and exercise a high degree of professionalism in interactions with all levels of internal and external clients
- Ability to be proactive and take initiative, follow-up and follow through on all areas of responsibility and anticipate business needs and plan accordingly
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
