Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service - Billing Clerk to join our team! You will be responsible for answering phones, responding to emails, and entering billing information into our system.
We are a small fourth-generation family business and offer room for growth within the company.
Hours for the position are Monday - Friday 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm (flexible)
Requirements and Expectations :
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Must be self-motivated and willing to take on new tasks as needed
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) is required
- Experience working with computers is required
- Must answer phone calls and reply to emails in a timely fashion
- Experience in the transportation industry is preferred
- Must communicate efficiently with the operations manager and dispatcher
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in customer service in the trucking industry is preferred
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- The ability to prioritize and multitask is necessary
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
