- Install electron microscopes at customer locations in North America by;Supporting the preparation steps of your upcoming assignmentExecute the installation and setup of our sold equipment from move-in to customer acceptanceWork with 3rd party contractors to ensure a smooth installation progress
- Give our customers the best possible install experience on their newly installed equipment with clear communication and good technical skills
- Collaborate with customers to determine their specific needs and requirements
- Cultivate and develop positive working relationships with Thermofisher Scientific colleagues and customers assuring the highest level of customer experience.
- Offer & seek technical assistance and guidance throughout the installation and operation process with colleagues and supporting departments.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and resolving any issues
- Timely and accurate recording of your activities. Document the work done and works according to standard operating procedures.
Job Requirements :
- Proven experience with installing, maintaining or building up of Electron Microscopes
- Associate’s degree in mechatronics, mechanical / electrical / electronic, or any equivalent engineering major strongly preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Willingness to learn and fast-track your Installation career
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Eager and quick learner with an enthusiastic and hands-on mentality
- Highly motivated to go for the goals set and take on the challenge at hand
- Able to obtain a valid passport and travel frequently as required up to 80%
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- IT skills in Microsoft Windows and Office environments.
- Good English language skills in word and writing.
- Ideal location for this job is to be living in close proximity to an international airport
