Hiring for Director, Divisional Strategic Marketing - REMOTE

The Digital Commerce organization at Lonza’s Capsule & Health Ingredients (CHI) is driving a digital transformation across the division and is seeking talented, entrepreneurial thinkers to join the team.
As Director, Strategic Marketing , you’ll work directly for the Executive Director, Strategic Programs, and closely with Lonza CHI’s leadership team, and in particular the Vice President of Global Marketing in order to translate divisional projects, programs and objectives into both internal and external content.
In this role, you will have an opportunity to make an immediate impact on CHI growth and productivity by driving key strategic initiatives.
This role requires a highly resourceful, self-driven individual with the ability to partner, execute, and lead through influence.
You will work across the entire division in a strategic and impactful role to execute the overall strategy for Lonza CHI.
This role will work collaboratively and in close partnership with other key stakeholders of the leadership team, most notably Marketing, Sales, R&D, HR, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement and IT.
Key Requirements :
- Manage the Strategic Marketing efforts for Lonza CHI on a divisional level, ensuring deadlines are met and appropriate steps taken to a high degree of quality and professionalism
- Planning, implementing, and monitoring global omni-channel marketing campaigns specifically for division wide initiatives (e.
g. sustainability, network, quality, competitor information) that span across product lines and business segments
- Leverage experience in marketing communication, content management systems, marketing automation, and social media management to create, steer, monitor and govern the creation of divisional content for the external market
- In addition to being a Leveraging your outstanding communication interpersonal and analytical skills to create, manage and steer division wide content that is used at the EC, BoD, and capital markets and investor level often on projects requiring strict confidentiality and direct work with the LT or EC
- You will work in a team environment to craft marketing material based on competitive analysis that is usable by the sales organization tactically and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements
- You will leverage your experience in complex organizations to build strategic content based on the desired culture for CHI (archetype project) and use this knowledge to create useful guides, content and internal / external content
- You will use your extensive experience in regulatory compliance to build, administer and execute a governance of all approved material for external use working with key stakeholders, approvers and submitters
- You will use your extensive experience in regulatory / quality adjacent fields to help maintain global claims for nutritional products guiding the organization on acceptable uses for Lonza CHI products
- Experience in Pharma and / or CDMO is a plus

Education Requirements :
BS required; MS / MBA preferred (but not obligatory)

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the location of the successful candidate, qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and job-related knowledge.
