The Hired Guns are seeking an accomplished Director, Outside Sales (Northeast U.S.) to drive revenue growth, market growth, and market share with an outside sales team at the nation’s leading public safety apparel and equipment company.
Important : while this is a remote position, you must reside in the northeastern United States to facilitate visiting clients as needed.

Compensation range : $96,000 to $130,000 per year base salary, plus bonus.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a winning sales strategy (market and target customer strategies) for an outside sales team.
- Lead a group of District Sales Managers for the Northeast, including coaching, hiring, and driving metrics related to sales operations.
- Provide leadership for the day-to-day operations of the outside sales department, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals.
Qualifications

You must have experience managing an outside sales team; if you don’t have outside sales experience, we ask that you not apply.
You work well with internal C-level executives, and you’re a wiz when it comes to efficient internal communication. You’re a problem solver who doesn’t shy from tough customers (law enforcement agencies, state agencies).
You’re able to spot opportunities, execute a plan, and motivate a regional team to success.
