Roles & Responsibilities
Consultant will support the Benefits Services Division with respectto data transfer among state agencies and supporting externalvendors.
Will act as a liaison between internal and external business unitsproducing reports and analyzing reports from HRIS. Consultant willprovide guidance on benefits related issues and processes.
Will usefunctional expertise of benefits systems to conduct root causeanalysis and make recommendations to management on ways to improveoperational processes and maximize efficiencies.
Consultant will havesecurity level access into HRIS computer systems to make changesfor employee eligibility as it pertains to state law rules policiesand regulations.
Skills Required
Position requires asophisticated subject matter expertise in SQL and advanced skillsin developing and using spreadsheets and database tables.
Excellent skills in importing and exporting data into and fromHRIS.
Will have an excellent knowledge of the full software developmentlifecycle which includes requirements definition analysis designcoding HRIS testing and implementation.
Proficient skills indeveloping and executing project plans and dependability in meetingassigned project deadlines.
Knowledge of benefits terminology to includeplans types deductions and benefits issues related to dependentsand beneficiaries.
Knowledge of Google Suite applications
Experience Required
5 years SQL experience 5 yearsexperience in developing spreadsheets and database tables
Education Required
Bachelors degree relevant to subjectmatter preferred.
