Job Description
ASRC Federal Technical Services is seeking a Technical Writer to join our team that supports the Federal Aviation Administration in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.

- Responsibilities will include knowledge and support of the Terminal Second-Level Engineering programs and systems.
Essential Job Functions :
- With limited supervision, using available tools, develop information system security documents to support the Authorization to Operate (ATO) for Terminal Second-Level Engineering systems.
- Work with the engineering team for each system to support resolution of security issues
- Work under general guidelines and objectives with limited supervision.
Work Environment and Physical Demands :
Located on-site at the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center, EHT, NJ

Requirements :
Associates degree and fifteen (15) years of related work experience OR Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of twelve (12) years of related work experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- With limited supervision, using available tools, develop information system security documents to support the Authorization to Operate (ATO) for Terminal Second-Level Engineering systems.
- Work with the engineering team for each system to support resolution of security issues.
- Possess strong organizational skills and some knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF), Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA);
and NIST security controls.
Knowledge or and / or experience with the following software, vendors, and equipment :
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Visio; Adobe Acrobat; Linux; Windows; Cisco Routers; Switches; Firewalls; Hubs
Security :
- US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US
- Has been living in the US for at least the past 3 years
- Successful candidate is subject to a background investigation by the government and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a position
