As the Staff Product Manager for Domains Growth, you will lead the effort to build several core capabilities in the domain space including : Front Site Landing Page for Squarespace Domains and other traffic entry points, domains search, domains search results (SERP), reseller opportunities, pricing strategy, cross-sell, conversion, checkout, and other growth areas in Premium and Expired Domains.

You will collaborate closely with product marketing on traffic acquisition, conversion and website cross-sell as well as with Commercial teams and FP&A to forecast, monitor and drive customer and business unit growth.

As a senior-level individual contributor, you will report directly to the GM of Domains and have the option of working from our NYC headquarters or remotely within the U.S.

You'll Get To...

  • Develop and own the Domains growth roadmap; including cross-organizational and external requirements, dependencies and opportunities
  • Work closely with other PMs and Engineering, developing specifications and execution plans, driving release schedules
  • Drive the product strategy for the Domains business, focusing on improving and deepening the product experience for customers, continued innovation, and integrating cross-product experiences to create a cohesive, entrepreneur-focused product ecosystem
  • Work with internal and external partners, including Google Cloud and Google Workspace; as well as other partners in the Domains and DNS sector
  • Develop scalable customer research practices to utilize customer insights to prioritize product deliverables, future strategies, and new product features and services to be layered on top of current offerings
  • Partner with Marketing, Customer Operations and Partnerships to evaluate and improve go-to-market methodologies, pricing, packaging, and positioning, developing metrics to support business results and ROI

Who We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of product management or product marketing experience or equivalent; ideally with domain expertise in delivering TLD or DNS related products
  • Strong commercial acumen, including traffic sourcing, conversion as well as fluency with key metrics and KPI's
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with engineering teams and cross functional or matrixed delivery teams
  • Track record of building products that are measurably : loved by customers, fulfill their needs, and impact the top line
  • Strong demonstrable skills in storytelling and communication, leadership and influence, strategy and vision setting, and creative and analytical thinking
  • UX focused with a passion for high quality, sensible design

Cash Compensation Range : $170,000 - $286,000 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), all Squarespace employees are eligible to receive equity in the company as part of their total compensation.
