This role would :
- Promotes awareness and the advancement of South College to high school counselors, administrators, students, parents, and members of the surrounding communities
- Represents South College at job fairs, conventions, college nights, and high school visits
- Coordinates special events to create awareness (counselor luncheon, workshops, and open houses, etc.)
- Continually seek to increase product knowledge through any available resources to establish a solid grasp of programs, curricula and pertinent information
- Welcomes students by actively participating in all steps of the enrollment process (required paperwork, qualifications, campus tours, financial aid, and obtaining schedules)
- Provides adequate and accurate information relative to the college and its programs
- Assist students in selecting their programs of study based upon professional judgments, available test scores, high school, and / or college transcripts
- Qualify applicants for admission who meet the stated college admissions requirements
- Utilize good use of time by making all required phone calls, follow-ups, generating referrals and other daily activities in pursuit of departmental objectives
- Ensure adherence to the approved annual departmental budget
- Consistently performs the activities that support individual and overall team admissions processes by following policies and procedures
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
- Experience in Customer Service, Sales, or other relational role
- Strong personal communication skills
- Charismatic Self-starter
