Job Summary
As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure their optimal performance and safety.
This role involves using diagnostic tools to identify and address vehicle issues, performing routine and complex repairs, and conducting thorough inspections of various vehicle systems.
Your work will adhere to industry standards and best practices, requiring a strong understanding of vehicle systems. Independence and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle issues.
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electronics.
- Ability to interpret and work from technical manuals, repair guides, and schematics.
- Experience in performing routine maintenance and complex repairs.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving mechanical and electrical issues.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in automotive repair.
- Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive equipment.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
- Strong communication skills for explaining repairs and maintenance to coworkers and or customers.
- Attention to detail and precision in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
- Ability to stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 3 years of experience in the automotive repair industry.
- Associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program preferred.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) certification preferred.
