Compensation :
$65-70k base salary plus bonus, health insurance (50% paid for employee), take home vehicle, PTO, cell phone, laptop, and additional perks.
Job Description :
We are looking for an Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of landscape maintenance services for commercial properties in the Charleston, SC area.
The company recently promoted the previous Operations Manager, which is why this position is available.
As a Manager, you will be responsible for managing 5 maintenance crews, ensuring the delivery of outstanding service to our clients, and driving quality and safety.
Job Responsibilities :
Financial
- Establishes labor and material budgets
- Reviews budget to actual labor and material reports
- Manages all purchases
- Understands and reviews the P&L
Client Management
- Day-to-day client contact
- Meets with clients to establish Maintenance & Enhancement projects
- Ensures crew has the necessary tools and materials to maintain quality standards in line with client expectations
- Stays informed about each client's specific quality standards and ensures those standards are communicated and upheld by the crew
- Works with AM & BD to generate Enhancement proposals
Operational Functions
- Day-to-day crew member interaction / communication
- Dispatch crews & handle daily / weekly schedules
- Maintains yard & shop
- Responsible for Equipment R&M
Employee Management
- Implements recruiting program and hires field employees
- Performs supervisory training for key employees
- Evaluates crew leaders through performance expectations
- Makes wage and compensation recommendations for crew members
- Coordinates and communicates concerns between field and office
Safety Management
- Chooses topics and implements all Safety Meetings, and fills out Report of Safety Meeting
- Participates in New Hire Training
