Position Summary
Works with Laboratory Manager, responsible for implementing the quality assurance (QA / QC) program for the lubricant, aerosol, fuel, and grease plant to ensure quality and performance standards for lubricants, fuel, and grease are satisfied while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company .
Position Responsibilities
- Implements plant QA / QC program based on best practice in the lubricant, aerosol, fuel, and grease industry through test sampling at various points of the production process.
- Monitors use and inventory of laboratory chemicals and supplies.
- Operates, maintains, calibrates, and records calibration data for laboratory equipment.
- Keeps laboratory and all testing equipment clean according to pre operation, during operation, and post operation maintenance procedures reference the respective ASTM standard.
- Prepare reports, analyze data for accuracy, and make recommendations for adjusting process conditions to ensure that quality standards are achieved.
- Maintain safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures for the laboratory work environment.
- Ensure city, county, state, and federal regulations relating to the QA / QC laboratory standards / requirements are maintained.

- Acts as liaison to coordinate lab functions with other departments; these functions include but are not limited to re work testing, retain management, blend receipts, C of A management, etc. .
