Guidewire Configuration Lead

Position Description :

The Property & Casualty Insurance team is looking to staff client engagements with skilled Guidewire Configuration Lead Analyst.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

• Leading a team of Onshore & offshore developers to design and Implement Guidewire screens, business rules, underwriting rules and workflow etc.
• Responsible to lead implementation & support for multiple Guidewire XCenters
• Implement new products using APD, Guidewire rating etc.
• Experience in integrating Guidewire centers with downstream systems using services (SOAP / REST), file or message queues.
• Create architectural diagrams, design documents based on functional specifications developed in the form of User Stories, process flows, use cases.
• Conduct user story / sprint demonstrations at the end of sprint / release.
• Participate in Agile Sprint ceremonies, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospective sessions.
• Be responsible for following Guidewire coding standards, performing peer code reviews, product performance etc.
• Be comfortable to switch roles between Configuration and Integration.
• Conduct end user training by means of workshops, training guides and operation manuals.
• Work with globally distributed across geographies for the purpose of delivery
• Work with internal development, testing teams to support requirements clarifications throughout the project execution.
• Work with business Analysts, Test Manager, Scrum Master and Program Manager for various project activities.

Qualification : Mandatory Skills :

• 10 12 years of experience in delivering wide range of technology solution across Insurance Industry
• At least 7-8 years of experience in leading large Guidewire implementations
• Hands on Guidewire Implementation proficiency and experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration development expertise configuring and developing several areas of PolicyCenter including but not limited to Product Model, Rating Model and Rules, Underwriting Rules, Data Model, PCF Wizards, Workflow and Activity.
• Hands on experience using Advance Product Designer, Claims Auto Pilot etc.
• Independently lead a team of developers, train & motivate them to deliver successful outcomes

Nice to have :

• Guidewire ACE Certifications for PolicyCenter / BillingCenter / ClaimCenter
• Agile Certifications(Scrum / SAFe)
• Experience in implementing cloud solution
• InsureTech enthusiast

Technical Skills :

• Guidewire, Edge and REST APIs
• Experience working on Java, DBMS, Cloud, Integrations (Web Services, Message Queues, Service Bus), DevOps, Web / Mobile developments using Angular / React etc.
• Management tools like Confluence, Jira, Rally, HP ALM
• Microsoft Office suite, Visio etc.
