Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for :
Assessment and Care Planning : Assessing patient / resident health needs, developing care plans, and ensuring interdisciplinary goals are met.
Responding to changes in health status and carrying out assigned tasks.
Documentation and Compliance : Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to safety protocols and regulatory requirements (e.
g., medication administration, discharge procedures, hazardous waste disposal).
- Patient-Centered Care : Meeting physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients / residents and families. Prioritizing tasks and updating care plans accordingly.
- Clinical Procedures : Performing a wide range of clinical tasks including assessments, IV insertion, management of lines (e.
g., PICC lines), medication administration (including IV), wound care, specimen collection, tracheostomy care, ventilator care, suctioning, tube feedings, and assisting with urinary and bowel elimination procedures.
Education and Support : Educating patients / residents and families about health conditions, medications, and procedures.
Providing clinical oversight to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Nursing Assistants, and Health Technicians.
Overall, the RN role involves comprehensive clinical care, adherence to regulations, and proactive patient management within their scope of practice.
Qualification : BLS certification.
BLS certification.
ACLS Certification is required for agency staff working in acute care, med-surg, or critical care areas.
One (1) year experience in Specialty Area
Contractor will provide proof of updated licenses and certifications.
The experience required should be within the past 3 years
