INTERIM : Clinic Director Cancer Center
Pacific Northwest
A Busy Full Service Healthcare organization would like to find a seasoned Clinic Director to oversee the practice functions and program development of radiation oncology, medical oncology, infusions services, integrative therapies program.
This position works with clinic manager and supervisor(s) to manage the operations, staff, quality, and financial management within the clinics and programs.
This position reports to the VP of Strategy.
Interim Details :
- 3-month contract to start (month to-month, thereafter)
- Monthly trips home,
- Furnished housing.
- Rental car (if needed)
- Start date : ASAP
Infusion Clinic Details :
- 15 FTE’s (infusion nurses and 3 MA’s)
- 10 Infusion chairs and 3 private rooms
- Infusion census is 16-17 cases per day.
- 2 Medical Oncologist and 1 Nurse Practitioner (see about 12-16 cases / day)
- Infusion Center handles : Port Care, Central Line Care, Chemo, Blood, and Other Medical therapy Infusions. Also, Oral Chemo program.
- Integrative Therapies : Acupuncture and Resource Center.
Requirements :
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or Nursing, required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive operational experience in a large multi-faceted medical practice, required.
- 5 years of clinical oncology nursing experience in an acute care hospital, preferred.
- OCN Certification, preferred.
- Working knowledge of Radiation, Oncology, Infusion therapies, preferred.
- Previous financial and budgetary experience required.
- Effective Interpersonal skills both Verbal and Written, required.
