The City of Henderson was recently approved to serve as a charter school sponsor and is currently creating its Charter School Sponsoring Division within the Office of Education initiatives to house this new service.
The City is seeking a Charter School Sponsoring Officer to execute the approved plan and formalize authorizing practices.
The division is expected to expand in the coming year, and the Charter School Sponsoring Officer is expected to develop into a supervisory role within the division.
Responsibilities :
- Execute the approved charter school sponsorship plan.
- Formalize authorizing practices for charter schools.
- Assist in the development and expansion of the Charter School Sponsoring Division.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to charter school performance and compliance.
- Collaborate with educational stakeholders and community partners.
Minimum Requirements :
- Experience in education administration or related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
