What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :
- Serve as the primary resource for California Teachers Association (CTA) field sales to design and execute customized enrollment strategies
- Develop and manage effective relationships with CTA contacts through negotiation and exceptional customer service
- Lead discussions on technology and data integration to enhance customer experience
- Collaborate with sales professionals to influence and guide enrollment efforts
- Provide solutions based on data trends to achieve policyholder objectives
What is Required (Qualifications) :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in pre-sales consultancy or leadership in employee benefits, health insurance, or finance
- A Life and Disability license in assigned territory must be obtained within 6 months of hire
- Proven ability to lead and influence a team of sales professionals
- Ability to travel up to 20-30% during peak sales and enrollment periods
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus
- Experience working with a scholastic system is a plus
