Responsibilities :

• Acquisition and Space Systems : Expertise in acquiring highly classified space control systems and space systems.
• Defense Acquisition and Source Selection : Proven experience in supporting Defense Acquisition Boards, major source selections for ACAT-like programs, and Acquisition Milestones.
• Air Force Contracting and Financial Management : In-depth knowledge of Air Force contracting and financial management.
• Leadership and Team Management : Strong leadership abilities to guide and lead teams of acquisition and systems engineering professionals.
• Contract Management : Skilled in preparing, negotiating, accepting, and managing government contracts and subcontracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Policy and Procedure Development : Ability to recommend and establish policies and procedures that impact the organization.

Education / Qualifications

• Qualified candidates must possess an Active security clearance (Top Secret or TS / SCI), and be located in or willing to relocate to Colorado Springs, CO, El Segundo, CA or Huntsville AL.
• 8+ years of experience working in at least one of the following roles : Contract SpecialistSenior Contracts ManagerSenior Acquisition Contracting SpecialistContracts PrincipalDAG (Defense Acquisition Guidelines) SpecialistAcquisition SMEProgram Acquisition Operations AnalystSenior Acquisition Specialist
• Past or present experience with SSC or mission partner space control or space situational awareness mission area programs.
• Proven experience in project planning and management, including budget development, schedule management, and performance standard setting, as well as ensuring contract requirements and subcontractor responsibilities are met, with a focus on productivity, quality, and client satisfaction.

For this role, the compensation range for candidates in California is ($78,315.00 - $240,593.00).

Note : Starting pay will be based on a number of factors (including the specific role) and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

FTI has a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
