We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our expanding finance team. The Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and providing essential support to various financial processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles and a desire to contribute to a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

This is a remote role, but expected availability during core hours, generally 9 AM EST to about 5 PM EST.

Principal Responsibilities :

Set up new client projects

Review and log client contracts

Generate and distribute client invoices

Record and reconcile cash deposits

Handle client phone calls and email inquiries

Complete client vendor forms

Actively participate in special projects, continuous process improvements and other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

Proficient in accounting, math and deductive reasoning

Experience with Microsoft products, particularly Excel

Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles

Must have strong listening, verbal and written communication skills

Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail skills

Accuracy and thoroughness is required

Must be flexible and have the ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Must be able to handle complex and confidential information with discretion

Ability to work with others

Must be authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship

Education and / or Training :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

1-3 years of experience in the accounting field preferred

For individuals assigned to work in California, Colorado, New York City, or Washington, Stout is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.

The range for this role considers several factors including but not limited to prior work and industry experience, education level, and unique skills.

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $55,000-$65,000 Annual. This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
