Leadingmultidisciplinary team is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer(Energy) for their Clevelandteam!
Responsibilities :
- Leadenergy audits of buildings and identify possible energy efficiencywater efficiency and renewablesopportunities
- Identify / providedocumentation for energy efficiencystrategies
- Determineenergy baseline develop measurement and verification (M&V)methodologies
- Calculateutility operational / ancillary savings and generate financialanalysisreports
- Assist withbuilding energy modeling duties (data collection organizationsetup)
- Identify ways toquantify energy consumption and savings opportunities throughanalyzing building utilitybills
- Build / maintainclientrelationships
- Providetechnical salessupport / coordination
- Coordinatedevelop and present concepts and preliminary technicalfindings
- Collectsite and other data to assist other teammembers
- Mentor / trainjuniorstaff
- Sometravel may berequired
Requirements :
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering architectural engineering orother related discipline or an equivalent of education andexperience
- 5years of experience in the energy efficiency industry includingenergy engineering / energymodeling
- PELicensepreferred
- Knowledgeof HVAC industry lighting and Building Automation System (BAS)controls
- Knowledgeof design / energy simulation software (Revit Energy Gauge IES VE HAPTRACE)
- Certified EnergyManager (CEM) or Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) with theAssociation of Energy Engineerspreferred
- LEED AP withspecialty ispreferred
Salaryis commensurate withexperience.
