Job Summary / Basic Functions
Prepares and analyzes budget data and reporting at the institutional level as well as the college / unit level.
Minimum Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s Degree required. Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
Experience : Two years of related experience required.

Job Duties :
- 25% - Analyze financial data to identify and correct irregularities by working with other departments as needed. Routinely monitor budgets and perform routine budget adjustments. - (Essential)
- 25% - Assist departments with questions regarding budget and financial matters. Maintain budget training materials for budget unit heads and staff and assist with training sessions as needed. - (Essential)
- 20% - Assist senior management with maintenance of the University chart of accounts and Finance user security. - (Essential)
- 20% - Prepare and provide analysis of routine and ad hoc reports for senior management of budget to actual performance, budget trends and forecasts.
Assist senior management with preparation of the annual university operating budget and external reports including the state biennial budget and related biennial tasks. - (Essential)
10% - Other duties as assigned. - (Essential)
