Role Summary :
The Associate Photographer for Womens Apparel is a full time position based at Home Office at the Philadelphia Navy Yard.
The Associate Photographer for Womens Apparel is responsible for on-figure e-commerce photography. The ideal candidate is adaptable, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced enviornement.
This person must have a strong desire to constantly refine and improve creative output and produce high end photography that is aspirational and on brand.
They must maintain in-depth knowledge of current brand identity and future direction and be aware of current trends within photography and fashion.
Role Responsibilities :
- Light and shoot on-figure e-commerce photography
- Capture the functionality, features, benefits, and uniqueness of individual products
- Consistently produce digital images that are within established standards, i.e. lighting, crops, processing, and file management
- Ensure a high level of consistent technical quality and aesthetics for all photography created and distributed by the studio
- Innovate seasonal changes in photography direction in response to sales, brand creative direction, and digital technology evolution
- Create guidelines for photography in regard to lighting and technical standardization
- Work with a team of stylists daily to ensure the product is styled efficiently and correctly
- Manage a high-volume studio workflow and execute imagery under tight deadlines
- Work closely with Creative and Art Directors for studio direction, concepts, and execution
- Communicate and work well in a team environment
- Understand deadlines and schedules in order to help prioritize product
- Maintain and organize photo equipment and tidiness of studio
Role Qualifications :
- Strong portfolio of fashion photography, emphasizing on product and on figure imagery
- 3+ years of digital studio photography experience in a commercial studio and / or Bachelors degree in Photography or related field preferred
- Strong digital photography, lighting, and compositional skills with proven studio lighting experience
- Growth mindset and passion to constantly refine your craft and elevate the team
- A self-starter, with a strong sense of teamwork in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline-driven environment
- Expert knowledge of Canon EOS, Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom, Capture One Pro, and Mac OS
