Sail Internet delivers high-speed internet to businesses, single-family homes, and multi-family (MDU) complexes in the San Francisco Bay area.

Work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment where you will be a key player in developing programs designed to meet / exceed subscriber penetration objectives in your assigned territories.

Come change the world with us! Sail Internet is seeking an Associate Community Manager to help us grow our commercial sales branch, bringing Sail Internet’s 5-Star rated high-speed internet service to apartments and other multiple dwelling units (MDU’s) in the Bay Area.

In this position, your goal will be to coordinate and attend various types of on-site events targeting participation by residents in the MDU who would benefit from moving their business from their existing internet provider to Sail Internet.

The ideal candidate will be excited by the idea of being the face of Sail Internet with our existing MDU business partners;

and be able to plan and attend up to 3 events per week. Willingness to work events in the evenings and weekends as needed is part of the package for this role.

Job Type : Full-time

Location : San Francisco Bay Area. Candidates MUST live and work in San Francisco area to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Scout locations and determine details needed for a smooth event.
  • Partner with Community Manager to ensure they are fully aware of how our service can benefit their residents and drive strong-performing special events at these properties.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support and achieve penetration results in assigned properties by effectively deploying defined programs and events at assigned MDU’s.
  • Ensure outside sales representatives are clear on daily, weekly, and monthly MDU event objectives.
  • Liaison with Marketing to ensure all sales representatives always have appropriate marketing collateral.
  • Produce and order online printing flyers for events.
  • Track incoming marketing orders. Store and manage inventory of printed materials.
  • Pack, label and notify staff of materials. Ship requested materials as needed.
  • Event management, including researching / recommending themes / budget for events; managing budget / vendors of the events;

and remotely (or in-person) oversee all events.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of related experience in event coordination or other customer-facing role.
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and overtime as necessary.
  • Able to drive to / from events.
  • Results and goal-oriented, entrepreneurial, and a team player.
  • Exceptional at building long-term customer relationships
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Computer proficiency, including Google Docs, Microsoft Word and Excel, and CRM software tools. Must have high proficiency in Google Workspace including Drive, Sheets and Docs and Slides.
  • Must have basic knowledge of preparing graphic materials and on-demand printing.
  • Must be well organized and manage inventory for this role.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
  • You must be able to work as a team player in a cross-functional environment.
  • Personal integrity.
  • Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Photography ability, a plus. Good quality phone photos are needed routinely of properties and to document events.
