Overview* We are seeking a dedicated Activities Director to join our team and enhance the quality of life for our residents through engaging and stimulating recreational programs.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with seniors and creating meaningful experiences. *Duties* - Develop and implement a diverse range of activities to cater to the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of residents - Coordinate social events, outings, and group activities within the community - Collaborate with staff to integrate activities that promote independence and enhance daily living skills - Maintain accurate records of resident participation and program effectiveness - Provide individualized attention to residents with varying needs and abilities *Requirements* - Experience in assisted living, caregiving, or recreational therapy preferred - Knowledge of ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and long-term care practices - Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff - Familiarity with aging issues counseling and dementia care is advantageous - Ability to adapt activities to meet the diverse needs of seniors in a home community care setting
