The Portland, Maine office of Dentons is seeking a motivated and experienced Associate to join our nationally recognized Cannabis practice.
The Cannabis practice is in the Firm’s Corporate Department. Seeking candidates with at least two years of experience in Corporate, Litigation, or Regulatory work.
The successful candidate will work in one of the premier Corporate practices on interesting and sophisticated licensing and regulatory Cannabis matters.
The ideal candidate will be intelligent, hardworking, an excellent writer, thoughtful, driven, and personable. The person hired for this position will be part of a dedicated team.
Recommended credentials include the following :
- 2 or more years’ experience in Corporate, Litigation or Regulatory work (years of experience can be as a Paralegal prior to becoming a lawyer)
- Outstanding attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
- Excellent academic credentials
- Stellar writing, analytical and communication skills
- Commitment to teamwork and client service
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Maine
