Your role in our mission

- Design and develop reporting code based on requirement analysis, utilizing SQL and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and other available technologies
- Perform SQL server programming as well as tasks using SQL Server Integration Services and SQL Server Reporting Services
- Design and implementation of data models and data loading packages that deliver information in the most efficient manner possible for use in reporting and analytics by both IT and business users
- UAT testing of report code to ensure accuracy, performance, and fulfillment of requirements
- Collaborate with IT staff, and business stakeholders to create, maintain, and support ETL packages in a compliant, regulated environment.
- Escalate concerns to project management or Team Lead, assist in determining best practices and provide suggestions on how to improve current practices.
- Participate in JAD (Joint Application Design), RAD (Rapid Application Development) and DSD (Design Specifications Document) sessions to define and understand the business requirements and present detailed systems design documentation for reports, data interface files, data conversion and any other method of data exchange.
- Develop, test, manage and implement SSRS Packages from development server to production server using package configuration.
- Formulate and document ETL process design based on business requirements and system specification including source to target mapping and transformations.
- Proactively engage in continuous improvement efforts.
- Diagnose and resolve incident tickets and errors.
- Develop ETL specifications, data mapping and other documentation required for ETL development.
- Use SQL, data models, data element dictionary and schema to perform data and business analysis.
- Understand business data and perform quality assurance testing to ensure the data presented is correct.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers and customers.
- Support Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, End-to-End System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of directly applicable data experience Data, ETL and Reporting with experience with Microsoft SQL Server BI Suite (SSRS and MS SQL Scripting), MS SQL scripting and SQL Server version 2019 or higher
- Ability to build complex queries and reports using Microsoft SQL.
- Analytical and data analysis skills using Microsoft SQL (required)
- Recommended additional skills / experience not required : Healthcare IT working with claims, member and provider data systems A solid understanding of Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) QNXT or FACETS Healthcare Payer Platforms Team leadership with analyzing, mentoring, monitoring healthcare plan data focusing on pharmacy claim / financial / member eligibility processing, provider networks and MCO contract details, auditing and reporting in compliance with Federal and State requirements.
What you should expect in this role
- Fully remote opportunity with the option to work anywhere within the United States
- This is a 24x7 oncall environment and you must be able to be on call upto 1-2 weeks per month - able to troubleshoot issues if needed
- Opportunities to travel through your work (0-10%)
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required

The pay range for this position is 65,000 - 80,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
