BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Production Specialist 4 for an opportunity in Los Angeles, CA!

Position Title : Production Specialist 4

Location : Los Angeles, CA (This is still a remote position, but there's a small chance these folks would go to a trade show or meeting with a partner in that area once in a while.)

Anticipated Start Date : ASAP

Expected Duration : Contract of 08 plus months contract.

Disqualifiers : Candidates with no experience in consumer product development or design or related experience will not be eligible for the role.

Rate : $45 / hr - $50 / hr

• Years of Experience Required : 2-5 overall years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or certifications required : No degree is required to be eligible for this role.

• Best vs. Average : The ideal resume would contain Creative and time management / organization skills
• Performance Indicators : Performance will be assessed based on Quality of feedback / guidance and Professional communication skills with external partners

1. Minimum 1 years experience with MS Outlook

2. Minimum 1 years experience with Adobe Photoshop

Job Description -

The Minecraft team is looking for an individual experienced in consumer product development with an emphasis on apparel, accessories and softlines.

This role will use approved Style Guide assets to move licensed products and packaging through the product development cycle.

A successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, good communication skills, and independent thinking.

In addition, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, have a keen eye for detail and possess a clear and concise communication style are vital to this role.

Familiarity with Minecraft, licensed merchandise, the product approve cycle and the softlines business is strongly encouraged.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage softlines product development, including but not limited to, apparel & accessories, footwear and home across multiple territories
• Manage / track product approvals through MyMediaBox, processing many submissions daily
• Provide copy review on packaging and product
• Track asset usage to ensure they are used within guidelines
• Review photos of contractual samples and provide feedback / approvals when necessary

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience in product development or relevant role
• Experience working with Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good organizational and time management skills and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ability to prioritize workload
• Creativity, verbal and written communication skills and problem solving ability
• Strong familiarity with or experience playing Minecraft
• Experience with MyMediaBox highly desirable
• Location based in or near Los Angeles desirable
