Faculty and pharmacy staff work closely to integrate clinical functions. There are currently five faculty members at Hackensack University Medical Center in the areas of Organ Transplant, Infectious Disease and two in Pediatrics.
The Faculty member would work with the Hackensack University Medical Center clinical pharmacists and medical staff to optimize the care of patients in the Critical Care Unit.
The faculty member would have an active role on the Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee and would also be involved in the education of medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff (including pharmacy residents), in special projects, medication guideline development, etc.
The Pharmacy staff will also be involved in protocol / guideline / policy development and participate in Code Blue response.
