We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Logistics Coordinator.

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the logistics team in coordinating and managing transportation and logistics activities to ensure the efficient and timely movement of goods and materials.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in logistics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating transportation arrangements, including scheduling shipments, arranging for carriers, and tracking deliveries.
• Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Assist in managing inventory levels and monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, including bills of lading, shipping manifests, and customs paperwork.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate picking, packing, and loading of shipments.
• Assist in resolving transportation and logistics-related issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies.
• Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) or other software tools to track shipments and generate reports.
• Monitor transportation costs and assist in optimizing transportation routes and methods to reduce expenses.
• Assist in conducting regular audits of transportation and logistics processes to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Provide administrative support to the logistics team, including data entry, filing, and other clerical tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) or other logistics software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
• Previous internship or coursework in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is preferred but not required.
