Position Overview :
Epsilon is seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to fill the position of Senior Director, Security Engineering.
As the of Senior Director, Security Engineering, you will partner with Epsilon leadership and key stakeholders to continually mature the organizations security posture and strategy.
You will be responsible for driving the modernization of security practices, continual operational maturity and compliance with organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities, Duties and Functions :
- Champion a culture of security within the organization, fostering collaboration between security and other departments.
- Partner with Publicis Groupe Global Security Office to align priorities, continually mature cross team collaboration and drive operational effectiveness.
- Lead the development and execution of a strategic security transformation roadmap, driving the modernization of security practices.
- Provide input and where necessary lead maturing our security programs that incorporates industry best practices and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Partner with key stakeholders across the business to integrate security considerations into all aspects of operations.
- Stay abreast of emerging security threats and trends, continuously improving security posture through innovation and adaptation.
- Define and implement security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain security reference architectures, standards and control framework documentation.
- Continually assess our security posture, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the delivery of Information Security projects and initiatives across the enterprise.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 15 years of experience in information security, with a strong track record of leading successful security transformations.
- Effective communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong trusting relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to think strategically and translate security risks into business context for senior management.
- Experience in cloud security and security automation technologies.
- Experience working with Agile & DevOps methodologies.
- Experience in datacenter & public cloud providers.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with layered security controls & approaches across network, identity, and applications.
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST CSF, CIS Controls).
- Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with scaling security.
- In-depth understanding of emerging security technologies, threat landscape, and industry best practices.
- BS in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience is required
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or CRISC are highly desirable.
