Cash Management Sales Representative

The Cash Management Sales Representative will work collaboratively with Commercial Relationship Managers, Business Banking Officers, and branch partners to provide customers with a suite of solutions to best meet their business needs.
The role will support both Buffalo and Rochester markets and is expected to visit both.

What we ask of you :
- Leverage strong relationship building skills to develop and maintain rapport and the trust of customers, prospects and internal partners
- Be proactive in seeking new opportunities and building relationships internally and externally
- Drive revenue with new and existing clients through a consultative sales approach
- Prepare and present sales materials
- Demonstrate strong listening and critical thinking abilities while interviewing prospective customers concerning their business needs
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of current and trending cash management products and services
- Maintain active knowledge of varying industry / business segments in order to counsel customers and prospective customers
- Exemplify Evans' core values and be an active member of the community in an effort to increase the bank's visibility and to enhance new business
- Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) as needed
- Support management with strategic initiatives and actively participate in projects
Experience and competencies :
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or related field required
- CTP Certification is a plus
- Experience with cash management or treasury management and general knowledge of cash management products and services
- Proven relationship builder with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of banking regulations in regard to cash management
- Good organizational, multitasking and time-management skills
- General understanding of commercial credit and underwriting
- Self-motivated with ability to see opportunities through to completion
This position is anticipated to pay a base rate between $76,123 / annually and $111,647 / annually. This rate does not include potential incentive pay and benefits paid for by the company which may be in addition to the base rate of pay.
The base rate of pay is determined by factors such as required experience, skill set needed, business impact of position, value of budget oversight and people management, among other factors.
