This is a position with the Design Technologies team at Hazen and Sawyer. The Design Technology team is part of Hazen’s larger Information Technology team and specializes in design and data-driven software and systems (Autodesk, Bentley, ESRI, Microsoft, and more).

The Design Technology team implements, maintains, supports, administers, and provides training for those data-driven systems and software.

The Design Technology team also plays a key role in the development, evaluation, and implementation of new services and provides service-level lifecycle management.

This position will focus on Bentley software and systems and will be responsible for improving the Bentley design capabilities within Hazen.

These include but are not limited to MicroStation, InRoads / OpenRoads, OpenBuildings, OpenPlant, and ProjectWise. Additionally, this position will provide system administration assistance with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Tandem, Procore, Holobuilder, and Global eTraining.

This position will be responsible for helpdesk support, system administration, collaborating with the CAD / BIM Discipline Group to maintain and support Hazen’s software, standards, and workflows, and R&D / evaluation of new software and workflows.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in MicroStation, MicroStation Workspaces, InRoads or OpenRoads, and ProjectWise. Experience with OpenBuildings and OpenPlant is preferred.

Experience administering ACC, BIM 360, and / or ProjectWise is preferred. Candidates should be willing to learn and develop skills specific to Windows OS, Microsoft Office, File

Management, and the Registry Editor. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.

Job Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to :

  • Administer, maintain, and support Bentley software, ProjectWise and ACC.
  • Provide internal and external user support via Helpdesk.
  • Develop training and documentation for new and existing workflows.
  • Responsible for the implementation, support, and training of client workspaces
  • Develop Documentation as needed for Bentley software and workflows.
  • Perform R&D / evaluation of new software and services.
  • Assist with testing new software, service packs, and patches.
  • Work with internal services and discipline groups to develop standards and workflows.
  • Conduct live training sessions as needed.
  • Occasional travel required.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of design or CAD Manager experience, using Bentley software is required.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D or Plant 3D is preferred.
  • Administration experience with ProjectWise or ACC / BIM 360 is required.
  • Design experience in the AEC industry is ideal but not required.
