Job Title : Production Line Lead / Supervisor

Job Description

Provides direct supervision of operators. Trains new employees and provides regular feedback regarding performance. Responsible for providing ongoing coaching to help operators improve performance.

Must Have Requirements

• 1 year of experience in culinary / food manufacturing environment
• At least 6 months as a Shift Leader
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking), Spanish-speaking ability preferred
• Ability to coach and train employees on recipes, proper procedures and measurement techniques
• Ability to identify production errors such as improper procedures, scaling, hygiene, sanitation, and safety
• Attention to detail and listening skills

Work Environment

• Working in areas between 45-60°ree;F, as well as in coolers (25-40°ree;F) and freezers (as low as -10°ree;F)
• Use or being in the proximity of knives, broilers, grills, ovens, searing and other food preparation equipment, plus packaging equipment that requires attention to safety guidelines
• Fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
