Service Restoration Inc. is looking to hire a full-time professional Contents Technician to join their team in
INSERT LOCATION*. As a Contents Technician you will be part of the Content Cleaning & Restoration team often completing daily operation tasks to bring jobs to completion including distinguishing salvageable vs non-salvageable items affected by fire, smoke, water, mold, trauma & other factors, and packaging / hauling those items to company facility for cleaning and storage;
to be returned to customer upon job completion.
Work Schedule : Typically, Monday - Friday from 7 : 00 A.M. - 5 : 00 P.M.. Overtime availability required, weekend and on-call ability as needed.

Compensation :
Position Description :
- Distinguish between salvageable and non-salvageable items
- Utilize software necessary to perform job
- Pick up and haul customer contents to storage facility
- Inventory and itemize, in thorough detail, the affected contents
- Clean and process affected contents
- Repackage cleaned contents
- Pack and haul customer contents to be returned upon job completion
- Be proactive in communicating with staff, homeowners, Technicians, Estimator, Management and other team members
- Represent the company in a professional manner
- Project empathy and sympathy in difficult situations
Job Standards :
- Good communication skills
- Current Valid Driver's License - (Required)
- Clear driving record and insurable - (Required)
- Ability to work as part of a team and be a contributing team member
- Willing to submit to a criminal background check and motor vehicle history check
- High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to lift 60 lbs
- Ability to work in various environments indoors, outdoors, inclement weather, smoke or other hazards of a demolition or remodeling environment
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- Long periods of standing and / or sitting
- Bending, stooping, sitting, crouching, walking, lifting, carrying, standing, stair ascension and descent, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and more as required for each job.
