Thompson Gray, Inc. is seeking candidates for an entry-level position on our Congressional Analysis Team. The ideal candidate has a college degree in a field related to Political Science or Government and some experience working in the U.

S. Congress (internship, staff assistant, etc.) A completed degree is an absolute necessity. Candidates must have strong writing skills, and experience with journalistic-style writing is a major benefit.

Candidates must have strong attention to detail and be confident self-starters.

Thompson Gray provides non-partisan, comprehensive coverage of Congress on behalf of U.S. Department of Defense clients. Analysts will be expected to watch and summarize congressional hearings, monitor daily news, pull defense-related Member of Congress press releases and speeches, and breakdown key congressional legislation to inform customers of impacts on their interests.
