Title : Controls Engineer
Location : Chandler, AZ
Salary : $130,000- $145,000 / year + Benefits
We are an established system integrator located in the valley that has been around almost 50 years. We've grown our team by 11% this past year and we're looking to increase our headcount again this year!
Job Functions :
Create and design control systems for a wide variety of applications. These systems will include PLCs, IPCS, distributed I / O Drives, drivers, sensors, motors, user interfaces (industrial), power generation and surge suppression.
All of our systems will interface with various system components such as electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Read and interpret diagrams, documentation, and communicate objectives and preferences with customers
- Develop PLC programs using Ladder, Function Block, and other languages
- Develop HMI's
- Troubleshoot problems during start up caused by incorrect drafts and drawings, customer changes, instrumentation issues, etc.
- Address design problems if necessary
- Leverage AutoCAD Electrical to prepare detailed drawings such as control system wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and panel drawings
Qualifications :
- 4+ years of experience designing electrical / industrial automation control systems
- Electrical AutoCAD proficiency
- Motion control experience working with servos, motors, and drives
- Broad experience with Allen Bradley, Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Wago, etc. preferred
- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment, systems, and operations
