All Therapies Support, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) to join our team.
The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide direct behavioral interventions to clients.
This role involves implementing individualized treatment plans designed to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, and reduce problematic behaviors.
Key Responsibilities :
Direct Therapy :
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA.
- Provide 1 : 1 therapy sessions using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
- Collect data on client progress and behavior during each session.
Documentation and Reporting :
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions.
- Report any significant changes in client behavior or progress to the supervising BCBA.
- Assist in the preparation of progress reports and treatment plan updates.
Collaboration :
- Work closely with the BCBA to ensure consistent implementation of treatment plans.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and supervision meetings as required.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
Training and Development :
- Attend ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Keep RBT certification and any other required credentials up to date.
Additional Duties :
- Maintain a professional and positive relationship with clients and their families.
- Ensure the therapy environment is clean, safe, and conducive to learning.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the BCBA or management team.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Current RBT certification (required).
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and advanced computer knowledge.
- Laptop or tablet to record data and maintain client documentation and treatment notes.
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk at a brisk pace.
- Ability to perform physical activities, including bending, kneeling, and reaching.
- Ability to work in various settings including in the client's home, classroom, or within the community.
Additional Requirements :
- Must pass a background check.
- Must maintain certification and complete ongoing training as required.
- Must adhere to HIPAA guidelines and ensure client confidentiality at all times.
