STIPEND RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Reports To : Principal / Athletic Director T erms of Employment : Teacher Calendar
Exemption Status : Exempt
Stipends will be paid on a monthly basis. In the event of resignation or retirement, the stipend will be prorated based on the number of days worked.
If stipends have been paid in advance, any overpayment will be recouped through a payroll deduction from the final paycheck.
Failure to perform or complete assigned duties will result in a reduction or removal of the stipend.
Major Responsibilities and Duties :
1. Responsible for the Baseball program at all levels.
2. Plans and schedules a year around Baseball program.
3. Works closely with the Director of Athletics in scheduling intra-district and interscholastic contests.
4. Makes travel arrangement for trips and Enforces travel policies and guidelines.
5. Recommends purchase of equipment, supplies, and uniforms, as appropriate.
6. Maintains necessary attendance forms, insurance records, and similar paperwork
7. Coordinates coaching clinics for middle schools coaches.
8. Coordinates parent meetings for all levels in the Baseball program.
9. Arrange and Organize transportation for Baseball program
10. Oversees the safety conditions of the facility or area in which assigned sport is conducted at all times that students are present.
11. Communicates well with trainers in all areas concerning student athletes.
12. Demonstrates strong knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) athletic policies, rules, procedures, and forms.
13. Establishes and checks performance criteria for eligibility in interscholastic competition in his / her sport.
14. Establishes, Oversees, and Enforces, discipline and sportsmanlike behavior at all times.
15. Assumes the responsibility for the inventory, repair, and issuance of all athletic equipment issued to the specific sport.
