Chemical Inventory Technician
Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Chemical Inventory Technician for our onsite team in Berkeley, CA.
This detail-oriented, highly motivated, proactive individual will be responsible for managing hazardous material and chemical inventory programs for clients following the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and other state and federal government agencies regulations.

This position reports to the Project Manager . This role is onsite and is based in Berkeley, CA. The pay range for this position is $28-$30 per hour.
Essential responsibilities :
- Execute onsite support services for the entire lifecycle of hazardous materials management programs at client sites by performing chemical inventories, segregating chemicals.
- Train clients on proper chemical safety and hazardous materials inventory management
- Perform and document chemical inventory audits for clients in their facilities and laboratories using Triumvirate's chemical inventory software program
- Support large and small chemical inventory programs. This includes :
- Execute the project plan to meet project goals
- Perform chemical inventory data entry
- Handle and inspect chemical bottles
Basic Requirements :
- High school diploma or GED required, Associates or Bachelors degree is a plus
- Understanding of OSHA regulations as well as Triumvirate's Health and Safety Practices
- Valid driver's license
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Requirements :
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
