Job Description
This position is for day shift (Monday - Friday)
Pay is $19.50 to $28.50 / hr starting salary range
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the maintenance and adjustment of the offline equipment
- Perform routine, scheduled maintenance such as cleaning, oiling, replacing worn parts, adjusting belt tension, knife grinding, etc.
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts and submit orders for parts as needed to ensure continuous operation of equipment
Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of small / light equipment and machines and the mechanical operation of equipment
- Requires knowledge of mechanical and electrical functioning of machinery serviced and ability to troubleshoot malfunctions and identify worn out parts
- Able to troubleshoot issues with equipment issues that are not readily apparent or where manuals are not available
- Ability to understand electrical and mechanical schematics
- Ability to interpret instruction manuals
- Working knowledge of the tools and test equipment used in the diagnosis and repair of equipment serviced
