- Lead and supervise a team of CNC maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for CNC machinery to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machine tools, including Fanuc, Haas, and Siemens controls.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues with CNC equipment and implement effective solutions.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment repairs, and spare parts inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities.
- Stay current with advancements in CNC technology and recommend upgrades or modifications to improve machine performance.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure spare parts, tools, and equipment needed for maintenance activities.
- Provide technical support and assistance to production staff in operating CNC machinery safely and efficiently.
Position Requirements :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing CNC machinery, particularly those controlled by Fanuc, Haas, and Siemens systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems used in CNC equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and basic computer skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies outside of regular business hours, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience implementing predictive maintenance strategies and condition monitoring techniques.
Education :
- High School Diploma / GED required or associate degree or certification in CNC machining, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools used in the industry.
- Analytical and quantitative approach to problem solving.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $96,300-$163,700 salary. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training.
