What you will do
Mako is a robotic-arm assisted technology that is intended to support surgeons in their efforts of providing patients a personalized surgical experience.
As the Global Training & Product Launch Manager- Mako, you will partner with sales and marketing leaders to assess and analyze business needs, market strategy, and training opportunities in order to drive Mako's growth.
You will act as the lead subject matter expert for Mako and be responsible for developing, planning and conducting training for new products and new Mako markets, ensuring alignment with corporate training objectives.
Through collaboration with marketing, R&D, usability, etc., you will develop innovative training strategies that maximize the use of technology to maintain and grow world class standards.
In this role, you will travel up to 40% to domestic and international locations. If you are located outside of South Florida, travel might be increased.
Remote candidates must be located near a major airport. CST and EST is preferred
You will
Design and develop course curriculum, training objectives, content, and workshops for new Mako product launches & training events.
Facilitate training courses and workshops based on sound adult learning principles and identified business needs.
Deliver effective facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills to course attendees throughout training courses.
Perform global Mako / JR training needs assessments in partnership with the local sales education, sales leadership, and marketing teams.
Foster and lead team collaboration for new Mako product launches with marketing, medical education, product marketing, etc.
Evaluate global Mako training programs quality, ensuring global consistency and effectiveness.
Model compliance throughout all activities and interactions.
Maintain and track training documentation, ensuring records are complete for all global markets.
Deliver global trainer certification program.
What you need
Bachelor’s degree required
Master's degree is preferred
8+ years of work experience required
5+ years of medical device sales, marketing, clinical experience, or education experience preferred.
Joint Replacement or medical technology experience is highly desirable.
$98,000 - $210,100 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
