Summary :
Our busy orthopaedic clinic is looking for a skilled X-ray Technologist to join our Kennewick location assisting in our x-ray department.
The X-ray Technologist is a per-diem, non-exempt position responsible for providing imaging care to patients under physician supervision / direction in a fast paced setting.
Compensation :
Base pay of $25 with a per diem differential of $5 for a total of $30 an hour
Position Duties :
Basic Responsibilities Include :
- Preparing patients for radiological procedures
- Protecting patients, self, and other employees from radiation hazards
- Maintaining required records in an efficient, orderly, and compliant manner
- Cleans, maintains, and makes minor adjustments to radiographic equipment, including identifying needed repairs
- Maintains radiographic supplies as necessary
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Education, Licens es and Qualifications :
Required :
- Certified radiologic technologist certificate / diploma from an accredited institution
- Current and unrestricted radiologic certification from the State of Washington
- Current and unrestricted certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current CPR certificate
Preferred :
- Clinical x-ray technologist experience, preferred
