GENERAL SUMMARY :
Serves as a general resource for protocols / operational issues. Responsible for Ultrasound exams and teaching the most efficient way of producing quality images.
Contributes to the efficient operation of the department, ensuring the quality and continuity of patient. Acts as a role model by setting a positive tone that directly impacts customer service and employee morale.
Intercedes on behalf of customer / employee to ensure a positive outcome. Also, performs all duties of an Ultrasound Technologist I as required.

SHIFT : Monday through Friday (Days)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED :
Required Education, Skills and / or Experience :
- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of one year of vascular experience
Preferred Education, Skills and / or Experience :
- A minimum of one year of Ultrasound experience
- A minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher
- Demonstrated leadership skills
Required Licenses / Certifications :
- ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography) currently registered as RDMS (OB and AB) OR
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) - currently registered as RT(S)
- Currently registered with one of the following credentials, or must complete Vascular sonography certification within twenty-four months of start date into position : RVT, RT (VS), or RVS, (RVS by Cardiovascular Credentialing International)
- Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association
