Medical Biller / Collector Onsite in Richmond VA
LHH is seeking a skilled revenue cycle candidate with experience in medical billing / collections, for our client in Richmond.
Candidates with 5+ years of medical billing and collections experience are welcome to apply! This role will focus on the billing and AR follow up with insurance. Please apply today!

- Hiring method : Contract possible for permanent hire
- Location : Onsite in Richmond
- Hours : Monday Friday, 8 : 00AM-5 : 00PM
Responsibilities include :
- Providing expertise in revenue cycle, specifically in initial billing and collections
- Performing insurance follow up with commercial or Medicaid / Medicare
- Researching denial reasons, correcting / rebilling claims for reimbursement
- Working claims to secure payment
Qualifications include :
- Minimum of 1 year in medical billing and collections
- Strong knowledge and understanding in commercial and government payer guidelines, EOBs, denials management
- Prior medical billing software experience, required
- Must possess strong problem solving and researching skills
